If considering House of Colour as a franchise option, let me help you--Don’t.
The concept of color and style analysis is good.
While the core concept is good, it is executed poorly. The contracts are a blend between franchisees and MLM. Training is a joke. Typically, people enter the Franchise model so they don't have to reinvent the wheel. The resources are inadequate which leads franchisees to constantly having to create tools to help with the business.
NoNegativeDisapprovesOverall, I love working with this company - enriching the lives of many, appreciate all the of the efforts made to build and grow, and I'm excited for where we're going in the future.
color & style services, meeting new people (both clients & other consultants), getting to encourage & help people with confidence in how they look, opportunities to learn, connect, & grow thru trainings, calls, etc.
admin (specifically email campaigns & setting up workflows), would love more regular opportunities for connection/community (i.e. coffee w corporate, coaching calls type of format)
YesPositiveApprovesGreat concept and opportunity; don't expect much from headquarters though.
It's a great business opportunity and the reputation is strong.
The CEO and headquarters are a mess. The CEO is rude and demeaning and doesn't even dress in her color and style (the thing we are known for!). They just aren't ready for the growth yet.
