Owning an InXpress franchise offers budding entrepreneurs a model to profitably grow a business. Smaller shippers are largely ignored by UPS and FedEx, and need the services of resellers like InXpress.
Franchisees share an esprit de corps that's infectious. Committed executive leadership. Products deliver value to our customers. Awesome recognition of top franchisees.
Franchise fees including the corporate assessment and MSP fees. Being on the hook for receivables and collections. Corporate needs to provide legal advisement and greater support on collections efforts, if not a fund to cover at least a percentage of uncollectable funds. Communications are too frequent. Requirements to attend annual convention and trainings. Corporate could do more for brand awareness and to deliver leads to franchisees -- it seems the most successful franchises run their own digital marketing campaigns, a costly endeavor for new franchises that don't have the knowledge nor capital to invest in these categories.
YesNeutralApprovesInXpress was a good place to start a small business about 5 years ago, The last few years things have changed. Wealthy investors come in and purchase multiple franchises and then combine the franchises and get all the recognition and rewards.
Used to be friendly to small business people. Now caters to wealthy investors who purchase multiple franchises.
The Ledger system to pay franchisees is terrible. This is the only business I know where you can earn 30K profit in a month and get negative money. They need to go back to old payment system. The Ledger system makes it almost impossible to budget properly. Our shipping rates are not competitive for E-Commerce. Our cost for UPS is higher than the rates given by Shopify and Shipstation.
