Reviews from verified franchisees
This brand could be great, but is sorely in need of true experienced leadership, different ownership, and a large investment by the franchisor
The brand has been good, and could be very good in the future, but needs massive investment and philosophical change by the franchisor.
It's a good franchise to be a part of it you are looking for a good work-life balance with profitability, as long as you have good managment skills to drive your team to contribute to your success.
Overall a great brand that has ups and downs with daily operations.
Worst experience of my life
Run by an Equity firm, they don't care about the franchisee's profitability. Predatory practices (think LOTS of fees for franchisees)from the Executive team and Roark Capital. RUN!!!!!
Both reviews highlight concerns about communication issues and a lack of strategic direction at the corporate level, along with a desire for more support in navigating industry challenges.
This brand was great when we started 9 years ago, now it is becoming one if not the worst business decisions we ever made.
This was a great model at one point. We are now in the toilet. Very few of us are profitable anymore.
Massage Envy is a high demand, high profit potential concept, with a crippling labor supply problem that cannot seem to be resolved.
