We have been franchises from almost 30 years. The future looks bright, great business model.
New owners have a great hands-on approach
Franchise fees on the new contract, and to be a little higher than average
YesPositiveApprovesGood, but they’re still learning and finding a balance sometimes encroaching.
Communication is strong
Over reach. It’s a fine balance to be 1) supportive 2) not over bearing. I find some of the requirements are over bearing and take the business decisions away from the owner.
YesPositiveApprovesMartinizing has flipped the old saying about franchises being "You're in business for yourself, but not by yourself" into "You're in business for someone else, but by yourself."
There is literally nothing on which Martinizing has followed through in its franchise agreement, apart from taking royalties.
Complete and utter lack of support from franchise home office. When asked for help, they provide almost nothing; when they tell you they will provide help, you receive literally nothing.
