Need new leadership to turn this franchise around
The concept and the modalities. That is why I got involved.
Leadership. Big disconnect with owners and our struggles. They would need to act as an operator for over a week to understand the day to day grind. A lot of it is on them as they are constantly changing systems and adding more complexity to running a studio, which burdens owners and the staff. The franchises are not profitable and many are losing money.
NoNegativeDisapprovesToo little understanding of the needs of the franchisee. Misplaced OKR's. Corporate staff rude and uncaring. Corporate often times has aggressive plans which most of the time don't work. CFO position has been vacant for more than 6 months.
The concept and the services we provide our clients are great.
The model is very complex and requires a lot of specialized employees. The Corporate staff is slow to respond and often times is condescending to franchisees. In addition the Corporate team has very little knowledge about what happens in a studio on a daily basis. Therefore they don't understand where their priorities should be.

The concept and the services
Everything about running the store, the way corporate runs their team, the people they have in place, our processes and our short term outlook.
NoNegativeApprovesIf the brand is marketed properly, the potential for success is very high.
Concept, opportunities for growth
Being charged for royalty fees while the studio is not profitable is tough. The brand is not known in our market and needs more marketing and education efforts by corporate.
