A great brand but many of the trade-offs you would typically associate with franchising.

The brand's values. The approved vendors. The aesthetic.

Reliance on the global (US) office for major decision-making, timeframes, etc. Small NSO team in NZ can mean lack of support, resources, and responsiveness. NSO's willingness to allow discounting (encouraged through nationwide campaigns). The CRM (Membr).

Take some of the feedback about Membr more seriously and drive improvement. Avoid discount-focused national campaigns. Better police off-brand activity from franchisees/clubs. Put an FAC back in place and have them involved in a more engaged way.
