While the experience has led to personal growth and has driven me to make my locations viable through my own efforts, I cannot confidently recommend the franchise opportunity to others based on my overall experience

The total investment required to open a Fitstop was significantly higher than what was initially communicated or advised by Head Office. While the franchise fees are considerable, the ongoing support from HQ has not met expectations. Furthermore, several recent decisions appear to be made without adequate franchisee input and lack proven justification, which raises concerns around strategic direction and franchisee alignment.
Head Office could improve by providing more transparent and accurate financial guidance during the onboarding process, ensuring franchisees are fully aware of the true investment required. Ongoing support should be more consistent and proactive, checking in regularly with business owners before they’re at risk of closing their doors. There needs to be a stronger focus on listening to franchisee feedback and taking a more considered, measured approach when implementing major changes. Additionally, rather than introducing more subscriptions or added costs, efforts should be made to streamline operations and reduce expenses to support long-term sustainability for franchisees.
