Hiring a consultant and operating independently is a much better option than purchasing a Restoration 1 franchise territory. Once you understand how little the corporate office does to support the franchisees it is too late.

Many of the owners are good, hardworking people that are willing to share ideas and answer questions.

The brand does very little to help owners in any respect. Failing owners are promised assistance that they don't receive, and the whole machine is designed to sell sales territories and collect royalty payments instead of protecting and developing franchisees. The President of Restoration 1 is unprofessional and lacks leadership skills. There is little brand recognition and there is little to no National Account work in some areas of the Country.

The President needs to be replaced, and they need to overhaul their business practices to ensure the franchisees are treated fairly, ethically, and ensure they are supported throughout their commitment to Restoration 1.
