Brand recognition (at the time)

Didn't need the Brand recognition, the technology was awful and kept changing but never got better, our agents (and ourselves) make way more money without all of the fees, that never went towards anything useful anyway, being required to have an office is a joke. It was made clear during COVID just how successful we could be without one (plus save over $50k/year). We've done more transactions and made wayyyyy more money since deciding not to renew and doing our own thing. All the things we were told would help us and make it worth the money of the franchise never actually made any positive impact on our business at all.

Take away the requirement for an office in order to have a franchise, get rid of the fees, stop being so stiff - that's why you keep losing great broker/owners
