I own five locations and they perform well, but corporate makes it feel like running the business with our hands tied. They’re completely out of touch with franchisee needs and provide no real support. I would never recommend buying an Anytime Fitness franchise.

Honestly, not a lot. The people are that work a Corporate farce very nice but have little authority to do anything. Corporate itself cares absolutely nothing about the franchisees

The fact that they make the absolute worst Partnerships with vendors, the most Antiquated and outdated vendors. They force us to use these vendors that literally charge 10x pricing. For example a camera system that should cost $6,000 installed is legitimately $25,000 and they force you to change it every 6 years. Then when the camera system goes down, provision the security company does not support the tech. I had a door down for 2 weeks at a time and for $25,000 for a system you would expect better customers support

Listen to franchisees. Cut the terrible deal with provision and provide a better and more affordable security package. Find more affordable sign vendors, I understand that corporate gets kickbacks from these companies but they are literally shooting themselves in their feet. We had double digit attrition and clubs are closing left and right.
