The gym business has a tough road: lack of interest, cost, competition. This franchise continues to take advantage of their franchisees regardless of the current business climate.
National/International brand
Hidden franchise fees, unreasonable upgrade requirements, clueless ideas to increase profitability.
I understand proper branding across all franchisees but "means testing" should be required (i.e. a smaller gym may not have the resources to endure drastic required changes. Gym upgrades should be evaluated upon gym solvency).
