Overall, I like Goosehead and the CEO, but I might have done things differently if I knew what I know now. I feel like I joined a greedy corporation which I doubt the CEO intended.
The RP model, training, and accountability. The carriers and efficiency. There are many, many things to like.
My major issue is the costs. The interest rate on the franchise fee is robbery. Rewrites should not be considered as renewals. Goosehead is getting NB commission on those policies and so should we. There should be opportunities to get bonuses. If I write 50K+ premium in one month you should wave the technology fee or something. The 80/20 split needs to have a cap or the split needs to change as total premium increases. Goosehead feels like a greedy corporation to a franchise owner even though it does give franchise owners excellent opportunities.
Some of the service agents need more maturity and oversight. We pay a lot of money for the service aspect and I feel as though I have to double-check everything for which I create a case.
