Who are we

What to know about Waffle Cabin franchise? The franchise is for a restaurant offering quick-serve Belgian sugar waffles and beverages such as coffee, tea and hot cocoa operating under the name "Waffle Cabin" using the franchisor's proprietary recipes, formulae, techniques, trade dress, trademarks and logos. The Waffle Cabin was a concept started by Peter Creyf and Ingrid Heyrman. They originally called it "Leo's - Gaufres de Liège" and operated from a pushcart at Quincy Market in Boston in May 1998. However, after varied results at this location and one at Boston Common Park, they decided to try a new venue - ski resorts. They started in December 1999 and immediately felt a spark - an enthusiasm for their waffles. During Presidents Week that same season, they were given a chance to operate at another resort and the results were the same, which was quite exciting. When their first season was over, they contacted other resorts who gave them the go-ahead to sell their product. However, they weren't always given the best locations but this just motivated them even more. Waffle Cabin is based in South Chittenden, VT.
