They service their member businesses through their independent licensed broker and franchise network in the United States and Canada. They administer the ITEX Marketplace and provide recordkeeping and payment transaction processing services for their members. They generate revenue by charging members percentage-based transaction fees, association fees, and other fees assessed in United States dollars and Canadian dollars where applicable. ITEX franchisees and licensees provide sales and marketing, customer service, bookkeeping, transaction processing, and other services to our members in exchange for a portion of the transaction fees charged on each completed transaction. ITEX franchisees and licensees also assist members in recruiting new members to join the ITEX Marketplace. The success of their franchisees and licensees is important to them and they provide franchisee training, support services, lead generation assistance, and cooperative advertising programs to their franchisees and licensees.
