Expanding the Franchise market

Franchising is one of the most powerful tools for scaling a durable business. We are software enthusiasts dedicated to building tools which reduce friction in setting up and growing a franchise.

Building a loved brand is a business miracle and behind every great franchise is a treasured brand. We build tools to handle the nitty gritty of setting up legal infrastructure and operation excellence required to let franchises thrive and maximize the value of their brands. In the past, brands were manufactured by Agencies with million dollar budgets. Today the connected economy has unleashed the potential of a multitude of creators to organically gain followers for their brands. By reducing the hassle and cost to grow a franchise, we help talented creators make the most of their life's work by taking advantage of the franchise business model.

This quote from Warren Buffett's 1991 letter best describes why franchises are far more valuable than traditional businesses:

"An economic franchise arises from a product or service that: (1) is needed or desired; (2) is thought by its customers to have no close substitute and; (3) is not subject to price regulation. The existence of all three conditions will be demonstrated by a company's ability to regularly price its product or service aggressively and thereby to earn high rates of return on capital. Moreover, franchises can tolerate mis-management. Inept managers may diminish a franchise's profitability, but they cannot inflict mortal damage.

In contrast, "a business" earns exceptional profits only if it is the low-cost operator or if supply of its product or service is tight. Tightness in supply usually does not last long. With superior management, a company may maintain its status as a low-cost operator for a much longer time, but even then unceasingly faces the possibility of competitive attack. And a business, unlike a franchise, can be killed by poor management."

- Warren Buffett

Ultimately we aspire to change how value in society is created and how ownership can be maintained by the creators of value.

We believe the decentralized model of franchise ownership, leads to a fairer and more motivated society where humans are have better controls over their destiny and ownership of the fruits of their labor.

This quote from Noam Chomsky during his debate with Foucault:

a fundamental element of human nature is the need for creative work, for creative inquiry for free creation without the arbitrary limiting effects of coercive institutions then of course it would follow that a decent society should maximize the possibilities for this fundamental human characteristic to be realized that means trying to overcome the elements of repression and oppression and destruction and coercion that exists in any existing society, ours for example, as a historical residue. Now a federated decentralized system of free associations incorporating economic as well as social institutions would be what I refer to as anarcho-syndicalism and it seems to me that it is the appropriate form of social organization for an advanced technological society in which human beings do not have to be forced into the position of tools, of cogs in a machine, in which the creative urge, that I think is intrinsic to human nature will be able to realize itself, in whatever way it will.
