Goosehead has consistently acted in bad faith cutting capabilities, cutting out revenue streams while raising production requirements, and failing to deliver the high-quality service we pay half our earnings for, all while forcing out franchises to focus on corporate growth.
The overall choice model with a high tech functional aggregator is a desirable.
Everything else. Goosehead 100% did a bait and switch on many of their Franchises that entered between 2020 and 2023. Promises were made and then one by one promises were not kept to the point that eventually nothing was as promised initially. The absolute worst default in their promises has been the poor quality of the service department. Agents essentially pay half of thier earning to have the highest quality service department in the industry. At this point it is a joke and most agents are serving much of their books for free. In the current environment Goosehead is actively forcing franchises out and clearly shifting their focus and investment into a much larger corporate footprint. They are down almost half of the franchises they had 2-3 years ago. IF someone was interested in this franchise I would highly recommend operating as a producer prior to ever making the decision to invest in a franchise. That way you can verify what appointments you will be able to get and see first hand how the company operates.
Honestly sell the company to another large insurance company or an aggregator that will allow the agencies to operate the way it was promised initially.
