I used to think I would do this all over again, if I had to but at this moment in time, I would not. I’m optimistic that the culture will change since it seems it is moving slowly in that direction.

I’ve been around a long time and mainly with previous family ownership (the founder). I have an established business that I do not rely much on help from the franchisee, and I am still able to maintain a good work/life balance and a very good income.

The business model has changed since our company was purchased by a private equity group. It has gone from a family oriented business, where it felt like I was part of a family, to a corporate structure of profit motivation and indifference,
