The industry has changed dramatically over the past 10 years. Pack & send is still a great franchise model and there have been some great changes form THQ. There have also been some serious service level decreases. Changes that dont necessarily make things easier for franchisees.

Service levels of suppliers has dropped significantly, drivers throwing freight, account managers and depot managers who dont care.

Weekly sweeps of bank accounts for the royalties etc on set days would make cash flow management easier. Seems to be all over the place lately. The move to G Mail was a serious decrease in ease of correspondence management. We no longer seem to have benchmark reports available which was a good way to see how one is doing against the group.
