Don't do it unless established and you have experience getting blood out of a rock.
I like the aspect of creativity within the job- if you don't let the boot lickers to amazon or cannibalization of our business from corporate.
They will make you pay customers for THIER mistakes (mis delivery/damage/mis information) and expect franchisee to take on thier customer service calls and problems with no resources for customers. They put time limits on claims and late deliveries even though they have those recordfs for six months they will not ho0nor customer and demand you pay customer from your business instead. basically if customer complains enough you are required to pick up the slack.
support your franchisees MORE. negotiate prices that don't JUST benefit UPS but benefit small business that corporate is already shaking down. Supplies (if required and we are loosing profit on) should be FREE if UPS wants it so bad. we loos money on contracts through labor and varying required materials yet corporate pays us peanuts. its about volume at the end of the day and they are currently trying to over saturate the market.
