The people who are successful in the space are self starters who don't need much help. Goosehead takes more of your income than necessary. Find the right aggregator or better yet buy an existing book of business so you'll get their appointments and keep all the income.

Constructively speaking, not much. There are better models out that don't cost as much which puts more pressure on the local agent to perform, but that's better than leaving up to a franchisor that's not delivering the value they promised.

The cost. This model is the most costly one in the marketplace. There are several other carrier appointment models out there that cost less.

Goosehead needs to deliver more value to it's franchisees to be viable. Ideally that would be to profit share or otherwise reduce it's take OR deliver more value to franchisee. It's a very onesided equation and I don't see them seeking to bring balance to it.
