Absolutely the worst business I could have ever invested in.

Having the franchisees on a Facebook group to be able to see what they are dealing with and ask people that have had the experience you are in before, and see how they solved it. Finally having a franchise business coach after over 5-1/2 years. Don't know if it will help though.

WAY OVER PRICED. Watching my competitors using their profits to grow their business, while I am sending mine to corporate. Having such small profits that one small event could become catastrophic. Investing LARGE amounts of money into building a business you believed in, that someone else gets the profits. Not realizing I needed an attorney, a forensic accountant and a private investigator when purchasing a franchise from a company that tells you they have a “Code of Values.” Best example of a share cropping contract, post Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Stop trying to take all the profits so people can build something. People are here to make a good living and build a family owned business like you said. People are here to get wealthy like you said. Stop committing fraud to make a sale. People get mad when you lie to them and then they start to have second sets of books and cover stuff up, like what happened to me.
